Under the provision of Intellectual Property Law, Logo is registered in the form of trade mark.

Logo registration process:

* Legality:

- Law on Intellectual Property 2005;

- Decree No.103/2006/NĐ-CP;

- Circular No.01/2007/TT-BKHCN;

- Circular No.22/2009/TT-BTC.

* Competent agency: National office of Intellectual Property.

* Deadline for disposing: 15 to 18 months from application.

* Steps:

- Evaluation forms: 01 to 02 months from the date of receipt;

- Publication of the application: 02 months from the date of acceptance of valid application;

- Evaluation the content of application: 08 to 12 months from the date of publication.

* Dossier:

- Registration form;

- Letter of attorney (if filed through a representative);

- Documents certify the right of application (if any);

- Documents certify the priority right ( if the applicant is foreign person – if any);

- The receipt.
