Process and time limit for examine the application
The application is handled in National office of Intellectual Property with following general steps:
1- Evaluating form:
This is the period of evaluating the validity of the application following the request of form, the object exclusion, the apply right... to give conclusion about the valid of application. The time limit for evaluating form is 01 month from the application date.
2- Application publication:
The application accepted as validation will be public in Intellectual Property newspaper for 2 months from the accepted application. The content of application contains: information relating valid application written in the notification of accepted application, photos or drafts of industrial design.
3- Evaluate content:
The application acknowledged as valid application will be evaluated the ability of granting Patent for object in application following the condition of protection and determine the area of protection. The time limit for evaluating content is 7 months from the date of publicity.
