Representative Office of Foreign Company: 3 million VND Establishment Fee

3 million VND fee to be paid by the foreign enterprises when they intend to establish a representative office in Vietnam.

On 26th Sep. 2016, the Ministry of Finance issued Circular No. 143/2016/TT-BTC providing for the collection, collection standard and payment of license fees for establishment of representative office of foreign trade promotion organizations, foreign traders in Vietnam. The provisions of this Circular, the fee rates to the new license of representative offices of foreign trade promotion organizations, foreign traders in Vietnam is 3 million VND for new issuance; 1,5 million VND for reissuance, supplement and renewal.

The above fee rates do not apply to representative offices of foreign non-governmental organizations, cooperative organizations, research, cultural and educational establishments and other foreign organizations in Vietnam.

This Circular takes effect from the date Jan.01, 2017
