Import Duty Rates 0% With Goods Imported From Korea

The special preferential import duty to implement the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement - Korea from 2016 to 2018 is prescribed by the Government dated September 1, 2014 and enclosed with Decree No. 130/2016/ND-CP.

Thus, it is noticeable that the provisions on import duty rate was 0% since 2016 – 2018 with goods transferred directly from the countries which are member of the ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement, including: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Korea and goods imported from non-tariff zones to the domestic market.

Specifically, wind musical instruments, excluding fairground organs, men's wind turned the street buskers; Pianos, including automatic piano; Orthopaedic appliances, including crutches, surgical belts and trusses; Camcorders and Cinema, with or without equipment sound recording or reproducing; Telephone answering machines; Agricultural machinery, horticultural or forestry machinery for soil preparation or cultivation; Laminating machine for lawn sports or playground; Ready-made garments and apparel accessories for children; Embroidery in the piece, in strips or on the pattern; Carpets and other textile floor coverings, be tufted, completed or not...

This Decree comes into force September 1, 2016.
