In the morning of 21 January 2016, Bureau of Judicial Affairs Support  under the Ministry of Justice held a Summary Conference of judicial support activities in 2015 and implemented the operational direction in 2016. In the meeting there are Mr. Nguyen Khanh Ngoc - Deputy Minister of Justice; Mr. Do Hoang Yen- Director General of Bureau of Judicial Affairs Support under Ministry of Justice; other Director General, Deputy Director of concerned Department; representative of Vietnam Bar Federation, judicial assessment, tender-commercial arbitration, representative of law companies in Hanoi ... and all officials of Bureau of Judicial Affairs Support.

In the Conference, representative of Bureau of Judicial Affairs Support presents the Report on result judical assistance in 2015 and orientations, tasks and solutions in 2016. The report clearly shows the contents of basic legal support on 04 areas: notarized field; Lawyers and legal advice; judicial assessment and asset auction, commercial arbitration and arbitrator management.

Contributed to the final report of the Bureau, participants are given the reviews to assess the status of judicial support activities. All were unanimous in the common opinion: the desire to Bureau of Judicial Affairs Support and the Ministry of Justice should have more interest in the above fields  at the same time, the agency itself in the Ministry of Justice and the related agencies need exchange and cooperate in legal support is not only the work of a unit or a personnel, but also the work of the whole society.

Lawyer profession in particular, delegates are representatives of Vietnam Bar Federation; Hanoi Lawyers Association; representatives of law firms also share that lawyer profession is a specific profession which needs special attention. As for practice of the legal profession and legal consultation, some arose problems exist such as professional ethics; the number of lawyers is increasing but the quality need to consider? And how does the remuneration policy of Lawyers look like?

The raised issues by the delegates, Mr. Nguyen Khanh Ngoc has answered the above questions and contents in turn. Mr. Nguyen Khanh Ngoc emphasized lawyers nowadays is the vanguard of the operation of judicial support. Therefore, the quality of the lawyer must increasingly advance, professional ethics must be at the forefront. It requires Vietnam Bar Federation and the relevant units need to find a reasonable solution.

Also at this Conference, Mr. Nguyen Khanh Ngoc announced decision of the Minister of Justice on the reward for 04 organizations and 09 lawyers have made outstanding contributions to the development of Hanoi Lawyers Association. Dragon Law Firm is honored to be one of 04 units which received the Merit Certificate on this occasion. A company representative, the Director - Lawyer Mr. Nguyen Minh Long on behalf of lawyers collective, company employees received the merit. Over the years, Dragon Law has made effective contribution in the work of judicial support in Hanoi in particular and Vietnam in general. This was recorded by the Ministry of Justice on the practical contributions in recent times.
